The Second Grand Edition of Colombo Supercross 2018, concluded in the weekend (24th June) crowing the Sri Lanka Army rider; Buddhika Kasun as the “Champion Rider” and Ashan Silva as the “Champion Driver”. Ashan won both races in super car event comfortably without giving any chance to Ushan Perera who won 2nd place in both events with his new EVO – 10 , coming back to his form after a long time. Kaushalya Samarasinghe and Kushan Peiris became 3rd in the first and second races respectively. Buddhika got a stiff challenge from Evon Biyagee , Sameera Premarathne , Shanaka Sandaruwan and Gayan Sandaruwan in MX 250cc events making it harder to win. He became the limelight of the day by winning both MX 250cc events and the first event of MX 125cc earlier. Imal Manchanayake won the Supermotard event while Shenal Gunawardena managed to get ahead of Upulwan Serasinghe in the Ford Laser/Mazda 1300cc event.
