The next race to come up in the local motor racing events calendar for the year 2018 is the Walawe Supercross. It is scheduled to be held on 12th & 13th May, 2018 on the grounds of Sewanagala, Udawalawe. Sewanagala Craftsman Autodrome track is unique as it runs clockwise with two tricky corners. Hence, the track will give a unique challenge for the competitors and a thrilling experience for the motor racing fans in the island. This year Walawe Supercross will receive more attention as the Organizers of the ‘Hutch Sri Lanka Super Series 2018’ have included the Walawe Supercross into the series.
