The Island’s last gravel event in 2018 will flag-off its 17th edition at Saliyapura Army Camp, Anuradhapura on 19th August at 8.30 am. The Gajaba Supercross; organized by the Gajaba Regiment of SL Army in collaboration with Sri Lanka Autosport Drivers’ Association (SLADA) was initially started in 1999 based on the idea of the colonel, Major General WDGA Gunasekara RSP USP psc. As many other racing tracks in Sri Lanka, this was too designed by Mr. Hans Ralf Karpinski. The event is organized annually and the funds generated are utilized for various welfare projects.
